One composition that is particularly inspiring is "Maybe Love." You can also find them on your favorite music streaming service and on youtube.com. *My written resources encourage constructive ways to express difficult emotions (see Reducing Stress, Living Fully - see pdf files below). Writing can be a powerful means of expressing your thoughts and feelings about any stressors (e.g, body and health, interpersonal relationships/pets - alive or deceased, money/finances, job/work/career, etc.). See Writing/Dialoguing meditation practice (attached below), suggesting a particularly valuable approach. May your practice of being mindful and heart-full keep growing and blossoming, day by day and moment by moment!

Love After Love - Derek Walcott
The time will come when, with elation, you will greet yourself arriving at your own door, in your own mirror, and each will smile at the other's welcome, and say, sit here. Eat. You will love again the stranger who was yourself. Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart to itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life, who you ignored for another, who knows you by heart. Take down the love letters from the bookshelf, the photographs, the desperate notes, peel your own image from the mirror. Sit. Feast on your life. |
